These are 3 big money quenchers. I will complete all of them at one point though. This is gonna take some hardcore self-control which means not spending money on useless things that don't last at all such as- food, movies, and random things.

It's snowing right now? Come on this is getting ridiculous!!! I just want summer to be here. I just want to feel the sand in volleyball squeezing through my toes, the wind blowing my long, blond, wavy hair as I prepare to tee off, the feel of the ball slammin' into my glove, and the water splashing against my rock hard abs [ :( not ]. But yeah I'm down for summer to get here now!

Due to high demand

Due to a high demand from all of my readers, which is a lot (ha not!!) I will start blogging daily, or at least try to.

Today I worked at 6 a.m. This is my life every Saturday morning. But this is ok because then I have the rest of the day to write some check marks on a neatly, organized "To-do list." Yeah, I make lists, all the time too. I even made one at work today for some groceries to be picked up.

Lists are the way to life.

This blog post is totally unnecessary, but I did not know what to blog about. Next post will be more efficient, I apologize if this post disappointed you!

I went outside to shovel today and my whole drive way was snow-blowed! My driveway would have taken a good amount of time to shovel but someone blessed us and snow-blowed it! I have no idea who it was either. Weird post but I just got excited from it!

Yes, I am setting goals and will meet every single one of them. I'm making them as I type right now.

-Read and Pray everyday (Preferably mornings)
-Go on hopefully 2 mission trips
-Expand guitar playing (Theory, Speed, Flow)
-Try to become a better singer
-Workout 5 days a week
-Keep everything organized and clean (I hate messy and dirty)
-Get 1 maybe 2 tats
-Stay single the whole year
-Buy a strat
-Save 25% of my check money
-Change my clothing style
-Continue to be sweetness

John Mayer part 2

So that night John played his live, single man concert (Saturday) I went home after the Tri show and check out the site, which had a recording of the songs he played. Though its not on there now, it was Saturday night. This is the song I listened to. Its a mix of Lost by Coldplay and Clarity by John, also a little backing of Jay Z's song No Hook.

So I have really pulled myself away from John to check out some other tunes. There is some good stuff, but nothing that just hits the spot like he does. I was checking out his blog today and I saw this.

It says it was made by John M. so I'm gonna go off on a limb and receive it like John M.=John Mayer (for all you math majors) in this instance. This is very creative and I like it.

One problem I was pointed out to not to long ago is about his song "Waiting on the World to Change." John says, "Me and all my friends." This is incorrect. It should be "My friends and I." Look I'm not saying I'm perfect at my grammar, cause I'm not. I'm just saying. Dig?

Its so nice to be clean

So for the last few months I have been really busy with a lot of things, go figure, and I noticed that I have become disorganized. Before those few months I was a neat freak, and I liked it. Now I let everything get messy and I also have noticed I am late almost everywhere I go.

I am tired of it now. So this Saturday I cleaned my computer room and my room, which were both very messy. Its so nice having no dust and having open space. Now I have to work on being places on time! We'll see how that goes, it will eventually change!

I don't understand how you can compose stuff like this, it just blows my mind. Its all just so chill. I wish I could play like that and just act as elevator music or play in a coffee shop all day.

Saying goodbye to the strat.

So today at church Justin talked about Christmas a little bit and about money. My original plans if you didn't know was to get this baby.

This is a American Vintage '62 Hot Rod Strat. It is an awesome tone and feel, only problem is the price tag. This pup runs for about 1600, though they still have one at Guitar Center for like 1300. But I have thought about this, and I have came to a decision.

This is what I am getting for Christmas. I have been saving up money and will be able to pay it off. This Tele runs about 750. I played this tele at GC for about 30 mins through a twin, which is the amp I own. I love the sound of it. So this is what I have concluded.

Reasons I should buy the Tele and wait on the Strat:

-The Tele is cheaper and I will be able to pay it off on the spot, unlike the Strat. This allows me to give more Christmas.
-I don't feel like I really deserve the Strat right now. Having that is having a better guitar then alot of players who are alot more advanced then me. I want to earn and deserve it.
-Its beaultiful.
-I'm beautiful.
-You are beautiful.

Separation

Something I have always thought about is how the world separates us all throughout our life. It can be through friends, family, loved-ones, and just anyone. And it sucks, especially when the separation is through a death. I look back and notice how many people I don't talk to anymore because they moved on, or passed away. Man it just sucks thinking about how many people we go through in our life.

It just makes me think what it would be like if every childhood friend we had were our friends for the rest of our life. But I guess God moves us and are hearts to other places. I believe The Rock is different though, we will always be here and never separate because we are striving after the only thing that matters! I'm just so thankful that this world can NEVER separate me from my one and only true living God!

The mix recap

So check it. The last two nights I have been at The Mix 2 in Des Moines. The place that it was held was tight and really down to earth (yeah... im allowed to say that) Anyways there were about 20 kids, I'd say, New Wine and Pastor Justin there. I think that this was the start to something big to come in the future, that this was the planting of the seed. Sure some kids held back from the altar call and praising, but I know they wanted to. So big things are gonna be going down in Des Moines next year.

Another thing was that it was really cool to just chill with some guys that I never really just hang out with outside of church. Its really cool to hear all the talk about music and it just really inspires me.

I also took a lot from the 3 messages spoke, even though I've already heard them. Its crazy how God can speak to you in different ways, I love it. Man I'm just so excited for something, I dont know what, but I'm excited.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about my career. Since about 2 years ago it was to be an Accountant. I love working with numbers, its not just for the money, really.

But lately I have been having thoughts about leading worship. Leading worship is something I would love to do. Only problem with that is that I can't sing :(... I have been thinking about getting lessons, but if God really wanted me to lead worship, wouldn't he have givin' me the voice I need.

I think I'm stressing on it too much and I just need to pray about it and put it all in Gods hands.

P.s.- Newer Wine (lol) is starting up this Sunday to lead kids rock in worship. God is gonna set these kids on fireeee!!!!

My dad

Ever since my parents divorced(last September)I feel a lot more separated from my dad. It sucks cause I know my dad is a good dad, but I think he has let work, and this other girl take over his life.

I talk to him about 2 times a month, which is hard. I always hold everything back like its cool when I talk to my mom and sister about it. I just got off the phone, which I had to call, with him today and found out hes in Chicago for two weeks for work. Its sucks because I think about all the times we had together and I never thought I would be the kid who's parents were divorced. But reality hit and now its just the same conversation with him every time. He asks hows school and church and then the rest of the conversation is just very small talk.

Man... it just makes me mad. I know he needs God in his life, and he thinks he has it, he thinks hes good cause he goes to a catholic church every Sunday. And it hurts to know where his life is gonna go after he checks out of this earth. I'm asking for whoever reads this to just put him in your prayers, please.

My mom didnt come to church today cause she wanted to stay home with the kitty (I called her kitty, my mom calls her baby.) She wasnt eating and kept makin noises like she was in pain. My mom went to get her chicken, cause she always eats it, and when she came back it was too late... I hate seein my mom in pain like this. R.I.P Kitty :( she was only 3 years old...

Illegal Move

I was using the restroom at school today. I went to the far right urinal out of the 3 (all of which are the same height). Some guy comes and and goes in the middle one right next to me. Not a cool move at all. Man law #6 states "Every man shall allow one empty urinal of separation in a bathroom with three or more urinals; law is void if there are dividers in between each urinal." And there were no dividers... come on seriously...

All this cooler weather we have been having is getting me in the Christmas spirit. I love it; wearing warm sweaters, sleeping nice and cold all cuddled up, everyone in a good mood, and when snow is on the ground, it just looks beautiful outside! Anyways, my mom already asked what I wanted for Christmas, so this is basically what I said. All I want is money if you really insist on getting something (that sounds really greedy but I'm not trying to be!) Anyways, I only want money from my parents because of the gift it will buy. The gift I hope to be getting around Christmas is around this.

How many licks does it really take?
According to Mr. Owl it takes "One, A Two-Hooo, Three....*crunch*Three."
When I counted though I got past three in a few seconds, and I wasn't even close to being done. So I wonder how they can put those commercials up when its not even true at all. And even if you bite it on the third time, there will still be more sucker left on the stick. So what the heck, I don't even get why anyone cares how many licks it takes. All that matters is that it is amazingly delicious and has a tootsie roll in the middle. Oh and one more thing, who actually licks these things seriously? Doesn't everybody just put the sucker in your mouth and just suck on it, or have I been doing it wrong? Man all because some little drop-out kid asked a question, a meaningless, time wasting question.

Thinking about the past

For some reason, while I was working tuesday I thought of something that happened at work about a year ago while I was still a bagger at Jewel-Osco(now im in produce :)) The service desk manager asked ME to do something for her. She had a bag full of scratch tickets. I'm talking about a big garbage bag full, not just a lunch bag full. She wanted ME to take the bag to the dumpster. I did and nothing happened. But now that I think about it, there was hundreds of dollars in that bag, if not thousdands. All I had to do was poke a hole in the bag and take some, or come back later that night and get the whole bag!

I'm not possitive but I think even if they have already been turned in, you can still use them again. Thats the vibe she gave me atleast, she was like "Make sure you dont set them down anywhere, and noone else touches them, just bring them straight to the dumpster." And now that I think about it, it would have been so easy to take them. I think they rip them in half now, but the bag I had they were all whole.

Would I take some if the incedent happened today? No, but its still the concept. Whats the point to this? There isnt a point, I just thought about it 2 days ago and thought "Wow, I coulda had alot of cashola if your following me" But oh well. Just a little story for my readers... oh wait.

Today they were messing with some water stuff by my house. My yard has a fire hydrant in it, which they had spraying off in the street for some reason. They had the road blocked off, but I could still go by it if i wanted to. I started thinking, "man, this is a waste of water for real!!!" Then it hit me. I look at my fairly dirty car and just nod my head up and down, cause i know whats about to go down. And the nice thing is, I was thinking about going to get it washed later anyways! But, back to the story So I drive my car through and then back around to get it all nice and wet. Then I just smother it with car soap and rub it in a little. Take it back in for a high pressured rinse, and bam. I love a free wash that doe better then all of the other car washes I've been too. Heres some pics.

This is the actual full page, top of the line photo they had hanging up by the exit doors at jewel-osco for the month of august. Now, your probably wondering, how did he get the employee of the month? If you asked me that I would either have to lie to you and say because i'm a very dedicated worker, or tell you the honest truth which is I really have no idea. But praise God for it because I got a coupon for 10$ in gas and some points I get to use on a website. It has a whole bunch of random things, the most expensive item I can get with my points was $30. I have this camel back coming my way now :). Ill give an update in a couple weeks when I get it on how it is.

So ever since I have started this blog I have had a few people laugh at my picture and at the title of the blog. I thought about chaning it, but have decided just not to care what people think. So, after many conversations with nic, I have finally decided to cut Mr. Matthews a break. He is a much different artist then John, but he does hit it good sometimes. I'm not the biggest fan of his voice like whenever he trys to go big with it, but when hes real subtle with it, it can sound nice. So please note, John will always be ahead of him, but he has gained my respect to get on my "hey your ok" list. This song is one that just hit my heart, he wrote it for his sister whom was murdered in South Africa.

And just an added video of him playing "All Along the Watchtower" originally performed by Bob Dylan. You have to watch it about halfway through to get to a fast pace, which sounds like the original song more. But I do like this version.

Ok, so i finally got most of this blog stuff down. I got a new picture bangin and a better tastin layout. Only problem is its 1130 and I have school at 8 tomorrow :(.
